This site is being compiled by a group of Reuters and Financial Times trainees in the period Oct 20 to Oct 24 as part of a training exercise in London Docklands, England.

Harpreet Bhal is from Malaysia. She graduated in Journalism from the University of Sheffield and holds and MA in International Relations from the University of Warwick.

Kylie MacLellan is from Cambridge. She studied Economics and Politics at Southampton University before doing a Postgraduate Diploma in newspaper journalism at Cardiff.

Catherine Bosley grew up in Germany. She studied an MPhil at Queens’ College, Cambridge.

Samantha Pearson is from Oxford. She graduated from Cambridge University in Portuguese and Spanish.

Nicholas Vinocur was born in Stockholm but grew up in Paris. He graduated from Yale University  with a B.A. in History.

Paul Lauener was born in Edinburgh but grew up in Sheffield. He has studied Business with French and Spanish in Edinburgh, a teaching degree in Newcastle and Journalism with German and Russian in Paris and Moscow.

Martina Fuchs is from Switzerland. She holds a diploma in TV journalism from the American University in Cairo and a MA in history from the University of Geneva.

Farah Master is from Hong Kong. She has a BA in English from the University of Nottingham and an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics.

Phakamisa Ndzamela is from South Africa. He did a BA in Journalism and Media studies at Wits University, Johannessburg.

Miles Johnson is from London. He studied History at Edinburgh University.

Jean-Baptiste Vey is from France. He works for the Reuters French service in Paris.
